Ben Webb - Project Manager - Sydney

Ben Webb is an Australian Project Manager with more than two decades of experience delivering complex projects and programs across infrastructure, tourism, transport, hospitality, and the public sector.

He was named Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Australian Project Manager of the Year (2022) and nominated for IPMA World Project Manager of the Year (2023) in recognition of leadership across nationally significant and high-risk programs. His work spans major infrastructure delivery, heritage and tourism assets, enterprise operations, and complex stakeholder environments where governance, safety, and public visibility are critical.

Ben has led the delivery of some of Australia’s most recognised projects, including large-scale transport programs, state significant developments, major tourism and visitor destinations, and operational transitions of iconic public assets. His experience covers the full project lifecycle, from strategy and business case development through to delivery, operational readiness, and long-term asset performance.

This publication reflects Ben’s practical approach to project management, program delivery, leadership, risk, and governance, informed by real-world experience rather than theory. His writing focuses on how projects are actually delivered — including decision-making under pressure, accountability, stakeholder alignment, and the realities of execution in complex environments.
